I just ran one of my searches, and Google showed me 7 results per page on page 4 and 5

I have noticed fluctuations in the number of results per page in the last few days (mostly confined to page 1, and usually 9 results, but a couple of times it has been 10, and a couple of times 7).

I haven't seen it before either, and have no idea whether it has any wider significance.
