I'm amused that this is even news and people actually waste time debating it like it's actually important or anything. Goes to show you what happens on a slow news day and when people have nothing better to do.

The important part is the Nexus 7 being advertised and slapping in on the home page obviously got it the attention they wanted now didn't it?

Mission accomplished.

That's the genius of having a big blank home page because when you do put something important on that page everyone takes notice vs. a site like Yahoo where everything gets lost in the shuffle. Yahoo could be the first to announce that alien life was discovered and nobody would notice.

BTW, If you don't have a Nexus 7, you should get one as they ROCK! Very cool little tablets and I'm loving mine. :)
