you may simply block your website for US country & create a custom web page Or sub-domain then redirect your domain[primary] to that webpage or sub-domain for US country & you can put a message like "Not available in your country" or like that. I hope it'll help

never do that...it will be fatal...you might accidentally block the search engine bots as well...Just go with a .co.uk domain or if it is .com, use WMT to specify the targeted region. Google will normally have to filter such sites for other countries but they don't do that always these days. But as long as it isn't your issue you needn't have to worry...
