Zivush, when that kind of sub-domain solution was first mentioned I thought it won't be long before Google jumps on that. Logically, if content is bad and it's one click away from pages that rank well, Google is going to demote the ranking pages so its' users don't come into contact with the bad content they link to.
I think moving content to another domain or a subdomain will only work if the original domain no longer links to that content, otherwise it just remains a click away and the problem still exists.
This of course would mean it would be risky linking to low quality sites.
