Here in my UK sector the usual big gorilla in multiple number one positions which has a few plain vanilla words about products it doesn't sell and affiliate links to sites that do sell these products (and which are buried way down the SERPs; they are 'information' sites after all) continues to be given a tighter grip only today it has more than one entry for most products I looked at from the multiple pages it spews out, all with virtually the same content. If I did this the site would be penalised - and quite rightly. Quality? Sorry Googlers, your algo has a long way to go.
