I know this question isn't exactly related to exit rate.
However, I was wondering if anyone here knows whether or not my site is still being affected by Panda. My site was hit by the first wave (Feb 2011) and traffic gradually dropped until I lost 80% of google referrals.
During May and June, I aggressively took steps: rewrite the entire site structure, delete over 2000 so-called thin news articles, delete a dead forum. Perhaps there's something here I did here that helped. My site finally was no longer penalized during the late July Panda update.
Now, here's the part that I still haven't figured out. My traffic is only 45% of what it used to be before. My news section traffic is only 23% of what it used to be before. I understand my news section would suffer since I deleted a lot of content from this section. However, the part that still suffers is my review section (I didn't delete any articles from this section).
My site now ranks pretty good... I rank in the top 10 for a lot of competitive product keyboards, yet my traffic - particularly reviews - is still not what it used to be before Panda.
So, my question is: am I still affected by Panda?
Thank you so much for answering this question.
