Hoping some people can offer feedback, I have a penguin hit site... lost 90% of its organic traffic. I have cleaned up the link profile massively and this has lead to a better anchor text diversity (what I considered the major issue).
Now I am waiting for the next Penguin Update to see if this has any impact, but I am also debating whether to create a new site with reworded data on it (but basically a duplicate) in case rankings don't return. I cannot continue with the rankings as they are its killing my business and I don't want to wait another 2 or 3 weeks for an update and to see zero improvement.
If I am going to create a new site are there any recommendations? I want to keep the old one up as it is still drawing in people from Yahoo and Bing and in case rankings do return. Anyone in a similar position?
[edit reason] fix important typo [/edit]
