Years ago, I think that it was considered okay or good SEO to have the same phrase in the title tag (e.g. How to Increase Your Bench Press) and h1 tag (e.g. How to Increase Your Bench Press).

I read this on articles giving SEO advice and SEO forums.

I am wondering if that might now be considered over optimization.

Would some variation between the two be better?

Any opinions and/or results from analysis that you may have done would be appreciated.
