The beauty is Google don't even need to analyse your site, they just collect this statistic from users via their browser and it tells them everything they need to know about every page people visit on your site without looking at anything else.
It almost makes sense that the problem could be as simple as that.
As far as author markup. Does it make sense to use it after all this time?
Good stuff Claarkey. Let us hope you're not just lucky. It doesn't explain why empty big brand pages rank. All they have to do nowadays, or so it seems, is throw up a page, put a good title on it and bamm..it's sticking to the top of the SERPS. It's almost sounds as if they could be the next breed of farmers.
