---- Google Results - time for updates to show is slowing down?

Actually our accountancy website SERPs got better after Panda. Penguin they seem to have stayed the same.

Results cache date regularity seem very inconsistent - especially for title and rich snippet updates.

PageRank across the site is between 3 and 4, which usually results in daily or at least weekly cache refreshes. Currently I am only seeing updates every couple of weeks (weekly for the home page which use to be daily). GWT reports indexing 100% of the pages within 1-2 days of submitting a new sitemap though. And the crawl stats graphs are on the up and up every week/month.

I put rich snippet author code onto all of our blog articles too several weeks ago and despite having newish cache dates only about 1 in 10 show the author picture.

I have heard when google slows down that a big update is about to happen. Perhaps it's the google local plus migration slowing down the google servers?
