I've been keeping an eye on sites that review other sites, give 'best of' reviews...and that type of stuff. And it seems like they've been nerfed too ?
example : 'best blahblah reviews' , 'top blahblah reviews' , 'top rated blahblah reviews' , 'high ranked / high rated blahblah reviews' .
(replace 'blahblah' with any category... web hosting , computers , software, or whatever )
any sites that try to target for those kinds of keyword phrases . It's possible Google realizes that most of these sites are just promoting the ones in the #1 , #2 , #3 spot as the ones that pay them back the most in commissions....and aren't really genuine review sites.
It's like musical chairs the way i'm seeing the listings being thrown all over the place from day to day regarding these types of keywords. For like the first 5 pages of google too. It's been continuing for several weeks as well.
Listings are still not solid, after all these weeks. You could be in position #234 one day...and #2 the next.
It would suck if they nerfed these too, as for many...it's a huge part of their business over the years...these particular type of keywords usually are high end in CPC advertising as well. usually $5 to $10 per click. (if advertising)
