Out of curiosity, for people who were victims of Penguin, how do your rank for plural / singular variations of your keyword(s) that were hit.

I ask because my landing page was removed from the index for the (more popular) plural version of the keyword, while it still ranks near the top of page 2 for the singular version of the keyword (that's about four spots below where it used to rank for the plural version).

(I sent in a reconsideration request to google and they said there was no manual penalty applied, so I can only assume this falls under Penguin.)
