I wanted to add a tip to the above, make sure your site is FAT FINGER FRIENDLY. A list of links with no padding or margin is extremely difficult to target on a mobile or tablet device. BIG buttonized links are the way to go for most. If not, make sure you've got adequate space between links or the user will have to zoom for targeting. I hate having to do that!
