Whatever it is, it is not over. But I don't believe there's anything wrong with starting to bail your boat before the full extent of the storm is apparent.

Could be a bit counter productive. Unless you are 100 percent sure where the boat is leaking and how to fix the leak. You would hate to create more holes and sink the boat at a faster rate.
