Sorry if this question has been posted before but I couldn't see an answer using search.
A search for my website name brings back the result domainname.co.uk/index.asp
I don't link to that file name anywhere on the site so I'm not sure how Google got hold of it but my question is what is the best way to tell Google that my homepage should just be: domainname.co.uk/ ?
Do I just add index.asp as an exclude to robots? I don't want to do anything that will have unexpected results!
