Hi, I understand Google has been busy tweaking its index, especially after release of Panda. But I don't quite understand the reason to the constant traffic change on my site.
My site unfortunately was hit by Panda 1.0 but after coming back in Panda 2.3, I started to notice Google traffic fluctuation every 6 to 8 weeks. I have never seen this kind of ups and downs during the site history.
When traffic picked up, I would see traffic stayed at a certain level until it gradually started to drop a few weeks later. Then traffic would stay low for another 3 to 4 weeks until it would suddenly skyrocket by 20% or more. So far, I have seen no fewer than 3 of these fluctuations.
If it helps, these are some G referral numbers (approx.):
5600 (August to Sept 2011)
4300 (Oct to Dec 2011)
5800 (Jan to Feb 2012)
4500 (Feb to April 2012)
I don't really think my site popularity would change so much during such a short period. In fact, I started seeing my site popularity surging due to the influx of links from leading tech blogs. Would it be something on my site that had been causing these roller coaster ride?
I really would like some ideas as I'm running out of options. Thanks guys!
