I stand corrected...Venice is "part" of 40 updates released in February...my point still stands...40 updates in a month ensures serp instability.
Google has rolled out a major change when it comes to local search in the form of the “Venice update”. This update was one part of 40 algorithm updates that came into effect in February. Google are calling the changes to the algorithm an improvement that will affect: “the triggering of Local Universal results by relying more on the ranking of our main search results as a signal”. The “Venice update” means that there will be an improvement in search results which will now show you localized results based on your location.
The aptly named Venice also ensures your site will drown under water.
