I would like to know this too. I have had experience with one site where it took about a month for the traffic to pick up and rankings to return. I have now apparently had a 'manual spam action' revoked just in these past few days and haven't really seen the return to rankings I was hoping for. New content ranks well and traffic is picking up a bit but not like what it used to be. I feel it is still very early days for me and perhaps things take even longer than just a month in some cases.
