All in all, our ecom sites are hanging in there with moderate sales. But we are still seeing big intra-day swings in the quality of google referrals.

Judging from how quiet this thread has been, I think there are probably a relatively small subset of ecom sites that are seeing this effect. Maybe we are riding the cusp of one of those 200+ signals. I am guessing the seo gang at amazon is sleeping better at night these days than most of us - their war chest of trust points seems to be carrying them through these choppy waters just fine.
