Drives me mad this.
If in say Safari you do a google search for "<your city> <business type>" - in my case Reading Accountants - why do I have to scroll down on a laptop to even see the #1 ranked result? The results are all in the bottom half of the page, off the screen.
First you have 3 adverts at the top, then 7 google places - all with 3 or 4 lines of text - and only then do you start getting the content you actually searched on.
On the right-hand column you get a map and then under that even more adverts. It's ridiculous!
Who do I complain to at Google for this crazy layout?
SEO would be so much more effective if users could actually get to the good content easier.
