I notice it bouncing around in numbers a great deal for the last 3 days.

I have a directory I am trying to get deindexed via direct meta insertion on all pages in the directory, so I check it daily.

Yesterday it had 4,500 indexed pages
Sun - 556 indexed pages
Sat - 2,300 indexed pages
Fri - 213 indexed pages
