I don't understand why people are posting in this thread if they have written Google off,

Is it not a case of Google has written off many people posting on this thread?

I have had losses and gains, probably more losses than gains. Deciding that we don't need Google traffic is wrong, but I took the first step of being Google free by switching the families computer at home to Bing as the default search engine.
