It's been around a while. I wonder how much more revenue they get/advertiser loses because of people accidentally hitting enter twice after typing a search. Coupled with the suggestions this actually happens a lot. eg: As you type, a suggestion you want pops up, it is natural to think you hit enter once to select it, then again to do the search and bam you end up on the 1st adwords result page. Bet Google loves those two "user experience" features lol.
