---- SEO effect on site served via CDN

MarvinH - 9:01 pm on Sep 13, 2011 (gmt 0)

I used to serve just static files (images, java, css) via CDN, but starting this morning my entire www CName is on my CDN.

My initial observations after 7 hours:

- 20% traffic drop

- While before I used to see one, maximum two, different Google spiders IPs crawing my site entire day, not it is like 15 to 20 different Google spider IPs on my site at all times.

I'm a bit worried about the initial traffic drop. Could anyone with first-hand experience share their knowledge? Is placing the entire www CName on a CDN bad for SEO? In effect my site is now being served from vatious IP numbers, depending on the location of visitors.
