I am thinking Google can track user activity based on clicks. User click on a search result and Google use cookies stored in user's browser to see what is doing on that site.

I have read that Adwords knows if a user who clicked on Adsense knows if user has bought the item on landing site (2-3 pages away from page linked in ads).

Is just a thought of mine, i do not understand technically if is possible, other opinions about this are appreciated.
