That is not to say that if an SE's perception of traffic can be affected by using adwords that would be another "factor" ..albeit a very sleazy way of "encouraging" adwords spending if it were demonstrable, or proven to be the case..

Sleazy is one day to put it. Illegal and unethical might be another one. Google should make this clear, 100% clear, because it stinks.

This has to be Panda, not enough links IMO to undo the effects of Panda. I was searching for javascript stuff and she was ranking high so it was a sitewide effect.
