@mslina2002.. nope, the image thing in the header ( below the drop down nav bar ) on the home page..and ( above the "select the forums etc" with the arrows ) is now nav to other parts/articles of their site ..previously there was also adsense/other ads served from there...

That is not to say that if an SE's perception of traffic can be affected by using adwords that would be another "factor" ..albeit a very sleazy way of "encouraging" adwords spending if it were demonstrable, or proven to be the case..

@1EightT ..I read your post..prior to my posting above in this thread..in your sector it may well be the case that "it" ( your change ) is all down to another iteration of panda..although I have some stuff in what could generally be described as the finance sector , I was not touched by panda there or elsewhere and so have not been paying attention to what happened to those below me in specific serps areas..unless they have been specifically drawn to my attention by others..either via stickies here or contact outside of WebmasterWorld.
