Page is a not externally linkable

The .com has been out there since 1994, the .co.uk since 1995, it's only the past few months that Google seems to have had this problem meanwhile no other search engine has.
If I type example com (not .com) into Google's search box it immediately ranks me #1 and example in, #1, example uk and it ranks a page in the middle of the site, example co.uk I'm #1 with example.co.in in the titlebar, if I type example eu I get 2nd position BUT the titlebar shows the 8th keyword + example.eu
Interestingly if I type example biz, which is on a url-forward to the .com at my registrar's, it shows the correct site and titlebar.
I've also noticed that quite often with branded products that Google ranks the US site ahead of the official site especially when the company is not of US origin even though it may be on a .com
Yet more G foul-ups.
