I can see this working on some sites and not working on others. Some are very strong designs and any button added just ruins the design. Yet, those that have a great design are often shared without having to choose a button.

Some sites have far too many buttons on them for their own good, imho.

I'd rather see the end of this trend and to go back to sharing privately, rather than something which appears to have been rolled out without apparent due consideration of gaming.
