Earlier today, I noticed that most pages on my site have been showing up in Google with just two words and the url itself.
The site is geographical and structured home > continent > country > place - but instead of the page title, it just indexes ' place widgets'. The cache has gone, and if I search for 'unique sentence only my url uses', nothing comes up.
Most pages on the site are content rich - but the level of content varies from approx 100 - 1000 words, depending on the seniority of the widgets mentioned on the page.
The site has been around now for nearly 8 years - although it handed ranked as well as it used to, it was still doing ok. I've never seen this problem, or any discussion of it before. Any suggestions?
