They dropped in Panda II. For some terms I watch, they used to hold the top three positions with their "multiple versions of the same page". Now they have just one entry at #5.

There is no doubt in my mind that G set out to purposefully hurt eHow on Panda II given the horrible press and blog reactions Google got when eHow actually rose on Panda. It was everyone's rallying cry: if content is supposedly important, HTF is an "How to boil water" eHow article well researched?

Also eHow's case destroyed everything that Google said about Panda, it was utterly embarrassing. But the fact is that they passed Panda algorithmically.

Next, I hear eHow might reveal the ice making formula in a serious of articles :)

IMO, goog has no problems with crawling, it isn't about cost, more about managing what they find.
