For instance ehow has pages and pages on how to boil an egg.
But didn't ehow come out as a winner? I am certainly seeing it a lot more in the SERPs...
I would like to hear more about what you are finding in regards to phrase based scoring.
"...a spam document will have an excessive number of related phrases, for example on the order of between 100 and 1000 related phrases."
The odd things about that are (related to AlyssaS' post) ehow seems to use a lot of related phrases (i.e., how to boil an egg, how to microwave an egg, etc.,).
And also I am seeing LOTS of keyword stuffed pages still rank well - and even lots of keyword stuffed hidden text pages doing real well. It's like 1999 all over again...
