When someone clicks an article and they are brought to a page and all they see are ads and the content is pushed below the ads, the user gets the sense there is no story and a lot of peoples instinct is to click on one of the ads in an attempt to get what they wanted.

This is partly googles fault, if they strongly feel this way, they should do away with the block/square ads because they are very bulky and its a challenge to place them in such a way where they wont conflict with the page content.
