Is there any data on whether the collateral damage correlates to the flow of page rank?

Meaning, do the pages that are linked directly from a bad page (or a group of bad pages) suffer more than pages that are more distantly linked from the bad page(s)?

Or from what you can see, is it more or less a "blanket" effect that affects all pages more or less equally?
