I visited the 'plex two weeks ago to meet with my AdSense reps. I kept my cool during the meeting, but one of the takeaways that was very clear: Google is doing exactly what they intended to do. This is not a mistake.
With this attitude, I don't see my site recovering. To repeat an old Microsoft quote, this is not a flaw, this is a feature. Congratulations Google, you are the new Microsoft.
And I trusted that Google was most concerned with end-user experience. What a fool I was.
Larry Page says he wants to take Google back to being run like a start-up. Well, congratulations. 95% of start-ups fail, and IMHO Google has just failed, big time.
