I hadn't really thought until now about my articles section. I have articles that I'd paid experts to write back in 2005. They were all original content.
I did some searching for the first sentences in quotes, and found that all of the articles had been scraped, extensively. Rather than try to chase down all of the scrapers, or file complaints with Google, I decided that it would be more time-efficient to "noindex" them. They don't draw much traffic anyway, but I'd like to keep the articles section for future content.
As I read what others are doing with their sites, I wonder if putting noindex tags on those is enough for this new update.
