how can Google even begin, at an advanced level to detect "low quality"

A number of us have been saying for weeks now, "tell us exactly what is meant by 'quality'". Even a cursory review of threads will see that question raised over and over. They can't tell us because it's in the eyes of each viewer, not a dictionary, and one person's "low quality" is another person's "exactly the answer I was looking for". Google dug themselves a pit and now they've fallen into it.
