True for a lot of webmasters but for many people, their website reflects their business. Dan's Dentistry or Ted the Builder don't want 20 web sites. Or anyone with a strong brand, for that matter.
It's not always about affiliate/advertising revenue.
Agree when its a business / brand it makes it a little more hard work, but it can be done - relying on one site is madness not unless your going to spend cash on Adwords every time G tweaks things not in your favor
