I have a site that deals with a specific city and it ranks #1 for a 3 term phrase. It's a pr0 site and outranks a pr7 site who is listed at position #4.

Those who are so caught up and fascinated in pagerank are usually riddled with so many over optimization penalties. But hey, as long as they are happy with there PR, I guess that's all that matters to them.

I purchased a PR1 site in December, I purchased it because it was receiving about 3k uniques a day, only about 800 a day from the US. It is now a PR0 and it gets about 10k uniques a day and 3k from the US. Traffic improves every day and yet since I bought it, it has lost what little PR it had, so what does that tell you?
