are you still bothering to try and get some of the backlinks to your old domain to link to the new domain? They are automatically there since I did an exact url for url replacement and 301d...

If you can... it's a good idea to get some of the sites that linked to the old domain to change their links over to the new one. Not always possible, but if it can be done, in my experience it goes a long way toward establishing an extra measure of trust with Google regarding the domain change and the 301ed links.
