AllyssaS, you make a very good point. In the past big players weren't so good at SEO - they often paid little attention to it, and if they tried they were very clumsy. That is definitely changing as the "big site SEO" session at Pubcon demonstrated. Their SEO challenges are as big as their businesses - but they have been learning.
