Spencer, I'm skeptical -- if this adversely affects adwords revenue, they'll probably try to fix that by tweaking the design of the page a bit, rather than by cancelling the whole exercise.

Furthermore, this was probably split tested extensively before being deployed on this scale, so they probably already know exactly how it will affect adwords revenue.
