If we were to all only get served search results based upon our previous search & social lingerings, then it's a status quo position.
It's a position that has a presumption that you're line of logic, growth, maturity, etc. will never change.
We all change our emotions, feelings, positions on things, our tastes, etc.
I have children and would rather not have their logic skewed by Schmidt’s position.
As we know that a lot of youth have accounts and are utilizing the internet, what does Schmidt’s response say in regard to how developing minds work?
