I was about to ask what widget could generate 30,000 new products a week...now I know!

maybe I am striving too much for perfection?

I feel so, is it any wonder most people cannot comprehend the deals if they are changing 1,560,000 times in a year?

I'm assuming that your intention is/was to promote these deals through the SERPs as opposed to an AdWords style of advertising? Were you considering keeping your index page relatively static and everything changing in the background or try and promote through a continually changing index page?

You'll be up against some very well-established and tough competitors who are already well-ensconced in the SERPs, are you sure about this?
