gouri - yes - I will come back to this thread as the changes (if any) occur.

dvduval - you say you have more links - assuming you have some socalled better quality links than your competitor - this points towards my attitude towards links at the moment which is one where I moved away from chasing them and focusing onsite/onpage.

Unfortunately - I cant yet confirm whether my changes will help yet (apart from that one site).

I feel like im chasing my tail - im getting bored of being bored of goofle.

Its probably my own fault for thinking search engines get you traffic in the first place. Silly me.

Watch me change my tone and call them google instead of goofle when/if I rank higher.

Mind you even then I know it will only be a temporary thing - its one thing ive learned after 12 years of this goofle dross.
