Simsi - I don't think that will work. The iframe isn't a link so putting rel="nofollow" on it will do nothing.

It would be like having:

<div rel="nofollow" etc etc>Content with links</div>

For argument’s sake, I've set this up as a test. I'd be interested to see what happens.
