When doing a search for the entire title of my page, I do not show up in the serps.

I think you should be looking beyond the CSS change.
Is the webmaster tools unstuck yet?
If not, do your logs show googlebot crawls with a 200 result and the correct filesize?
I'm wondering if something is stopping the bot getting in there - it can happen :(
