It looks like the predictions some were making about lower quality search results driving away the public are not the way things have gone down - at least so far.

....according to hitwise....

I'm curious how these percentages are calculated. Is it based on user reach or number of searches? Or a combination of both? If 1 user has to make 2 refinements to the original search, does that count 3 times or once?
