Google has started to include site speed in web search rankings. They have enabled that feature a few weeks ago and it is currently only enabled for English queries on Google.com.
According to the blogpost over at the Google Webmaster blog less than 1% of search queries are affected by the site speed signal currently.
What's your opinion on that? I personally think that speed is not everything. A complex site, one with lots of photos or designs is obviously slower loading than a plain html site without graphics at all.
