I am seeing many more sub directories being listed in results. Has/Is google made/making changes that will see relevency of internal pages increase? Results were previously my home page ranked, I am now seeing domain.com/widget. This is not exclusive to my site but in many results.

Has anyone made similar observations or shed any more light on this?
